Sunsmith Yun Ping’s gallery space and workshop is an experiential consideration of Hong Kong heritage and traditional artistry. Located in one of the busiest districts in Hong Kong, the goldsmith brand’s expansion into workshopping and well-curated retail can be found on the first floor of a historic 1960s Hong Kong ‘Tong Lau’. The local brand’s homage to its original design accentuates the industrial elements on the iconic Chinese walk-up building, capturing the eyes of passers-by with its distinctive facade. Glowing orbs and circular windows balance out the gallery’s strong geometric lines, acting as both a way-finding guide and a subtle reference to Sunsmith’s brand mark. House of Forme worked with the client on their interior design, project management, ff&e design and brand environments.
