Architect Ivan Wong and curator Christina Brandt Jensen orchestrated "The Roving Barbershop", an immersive art installation inspired by Oi Kwan Barbers, a 60-year-old traditional Cantonese alleyway barbershop, one of the few remaining in Hong Kong. The concept is a collaboration of designers and artists that incorporates photography, design, sound, and scent to engage all the viewers' senses. Using heritage innovation, the project aims to preserve old shops as invaluable collective memory through art and technology. The essence of the shop is captured through the physical installation, virtual reality and augmented reality, all of which the audience can interact with. Organized by Cheung Chau Wave & In-between Architects Kindly supported by Design Trust / Sponsored by Wallpaper+, ANARTA, Davide Groppi Special Thanks: Oikwan Barbers
