Coffee culture has become more popular in Hong Kong recently. The owner of HeyDay chose to set foot in Tai Hang, and give a new sensation to the crowd and historical neighbourhood. Therefore, our designer connects the café and the outdoors with a window sliding door that can bring sunlight into the interiors. With a bright white palette, the café is linked with the exteriors in a subtle way. On top of designing several photo-snapping spots for customers, our designer spent a mouthful of time on the space planning based on the daily operation routine of the café.
